Use cases / Feature Announcements

Feature announcement videos

You shipped it; now it has to be seen. Rollsee lifts the new thing out of your real page, and the viewer watches it pull forward from the exact place it lives.

The feature, not a mockup of it

The harvester reads your live page and lifts the actual component (a card, a chart, a stat) as a real object with its own silhouette. What performs on screen is what you shipped.

A cut about one thing

Tell the Director what to spotlight ("open on the export panel") in plain words and it restructures the video around your note. Announcements stay announcements, not tours.

Ship, announce, repeat

Your project remembers the brand, the colors and the footage. The next feature announcement starts from everything Rollsee already learned. A minute, again.

Questions

The feature is behind a login. Can it still be shown?

Yes, if you hand over a demo account at setup: Rollsee signs in, explores the navigation inside your app and films the real screens, so a feature that only exists inside the product is still the footage. Authenticator-app codes work; SMS, email and push MFA and social sign-in do not. Otherwise a screenshot or section on your public changelog is filmable material too.

Can I steer what the announcement focuses on?

Yes. Revision notes in plain language ("focus on the new dashboard, more dramatic") re-direct the cut around your emphasis. Re-directs come with the $2 unlock.

How is this different from a changelog GIF?

A GIF shows pixels changing; the video gives the change a story: an arc, a soundtrack, sound design landing on the payoff word, and your brand carrying the whole thing.
