Questions
What is a credit?
One credit is one second of generated video, and everything else is priced against that. A product video is 30 credits, a video from your voice or writing is 25. Credits do not expire and there is one balance for the whole product.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. You can buy a pack of credits whenever you need them and never pay again. A plan is only cheaper if you make things regularly: it grants credits every month at a better rate than a pack.
What is free?
Watching is free, always. Every video plays in full, in your browser, before you spend anything, and you can share the watermarked version. Your first 2 cast generations are free too.
What happens when I run out mid-production?
Autopilot stops before it starts a shot it cannot finish, emails you once, and picks up where it left off when you top up. It will never half-film a video and charge you for it.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you buy in a pack stay in your balance. Credits granted by a plan land each month and stay too, so a quiet month is not a wasted one.
Are exports and re-downloads metered?
No, and they never will be. Rendering an MP4 is local compute and costs us nothing per file, so capping it would be a limit invented for a pricing table rather than one the engine has. Generating is the only thing with a bill attached, so generating is the only thing metered.
Can I change or cancel a plan?
Any time, from your account. Switching tiers and cancelling both go through Stripe, and cancelling leaves you with whatever credits you have already been granted.
